Shipping Policy
International Shipping
Biotech Academy offers international shipping for wholesale live plant orders to eligible destinations.
All plants are carefully prepared, inspected, and packed to ensure they are suitable for international transportation. As live plants are sensitive to transportation time, temperature, weather conditions, and phytosanitary requirements, actual shipping conditions may affect the condition of the plants upon arrival.
Please ensure that your shipping address and contact information are correct before completing your order.
Order Processing & Preparation
Orders will be processed and prepared for shipment after full payment has been received and confirmed by the Seller.
Because live plants require special technical preparation, including plant selection, export eligibility checks, preparation, inspection, and packing, the actual preparation time may vary depending on the type and quantity of plants.
For certain orders, additional preparation time may be required before shipment.
For pre-order products or orders requiring special preparation, the estimated preparation and shipment schedule may vary. Please contact us in advance for detailed information.

-
Destination country
-
Customs clearance procedures
-
Import requirements
-

As live plants are biological products, transportation and environmental conditions may affect their condition during transit.
Customs Clearance & Delivery
The Seller is responsible for export customs clearance and will provide reasonable assistance with import procedures in the destination country.
The shipment will be arranged for direct delivery to the Buyer’s address.
The Buyer agrees to provide any information or documents reasonably required to support import procedures in the destination country.
Customs Duties, Taxes & Destination Charges
Any import taxes, customs duties, customs clearance fees, inspection fees, or other additional charges imposed in the destination country under local regulations shall be borne by the Buyer.
Such additional charges are normally not expected to exceed USD 30–50 per package, although the actual amount may vary depending on the destination country and applicable regulations.
The Seller is not responsible for charges imposed by the destination country’s authorities unless otherwise agreed in writing by both parties.
Phytosanitary Certificate & Plant Health Documents
A Phytosanitary Certificate or other relevant plant health documents may be provided if requested by the Buyer and agreed upon with the Seller before the order is shipped.
The availability and requirements of such documents may depend on the regulations of the destination country and the specific plant species.
Buyers are responsible for informing the Seller in advance of any specific import documentation requirements applicable to their country.

Depending on the destination, shipment size, plant type, and available service, orders may be shipped using reliable international shipping partners such as:

The Seller will select the appropriate shipping method based on the destination and the best available service.

Tracking information
A tracking number will be provided after the order has been shipped, where tracking is available.
Plant Inspection Upon Delivery
Because the products are live plants, the Buyer must inspect the shipment and confirm the condition of the plants within 24 hours of delivery.
If any plants are damaged or dead upon arrival, the Buyer must contact the Seller within 24 hours and provide clear photos and/or videos showing the condition of the plants and packaging.
If the Buyer does not report an issue within this 24-hour period, the plants will be considered to have been received in satisfactory condition.
Damaged or Dead Plants Upon Arrival
If plants are confirmed to be damaged or dead upon arrival and the Buyer provides the required evidence within 24 hours, the Seller will provide a replacement for the affected plants.
Replacement will be made with:
-
The same plants, if available; or
-
Plants of equivalent value if the original plants are unavailable.
Replacement is the applicable remedy for plants that arrive damaged or dead.
No Refunds or Returns
Because the products are live plants and may be affected by transportation, temperature, weather, environmental conditions, and phytosanitary requirements, international live plant orders are non-refundable and non-returnable.
For plants that arrive damaged or dead, the applicable remedy is replacement in accordance with the section above.
Customs Delays & Force Majeure
Shipments may be delayed or may not be successfully completed due to customs authorities, phytosanitary inspections, import restrictions, war, natural disasters, fire, accidents, severe weather, transportation disruptions, or other circumstances beyond the reasonable control of either party.
If the plants cannot be successfully delivered due to such circumstances, the order may be resent when conditions permit.
Any related loss or additional costs arising from such circumstances will be shared equally (50/50) between the Seller and the Buyer.
Plant Import Regulations
The Buyer is responsible for understanding and complying with the plant import regulations of the destination country before placing an order.
Some countries may require:
-
Import permits
-
Phytosanitary certificates
-
Plant health documents
-
Import declarations
-
Additional inspections or approvals
The Buyer should confirm the applicable requirements with the relevant authorities before placing an order.
The Seller will provide reasonable assistance with export and import-related procedures but cannot guarantee that the destination country’s authorities will approve or release a shipment.
Incorrect Shipping Address
The Buyer is responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address and contact information.
If an incorrect or incomplete address is provided and the shipment cannot be delivered, any additional shipping, handling, or reshipment costs may be charged to the Buyer.
Please carefully verify your shipping information before completing your order.
